Founder's Statement
Saraphina Minde
I was born and raised in a small village at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, surrounded by landscapes that shaped my deep connection to nature, community, and purposeful living. In 2023, I founded Kisheru Africa with the intention of creating spaces where people could come together through culture, creativity, and shared experiences in nature.
What began as a simple vision has grown into a broader platform that brings together outdoor experiences, sustainability initiatives, conscious commerce, and strategic storytelling.
While I started Kisheru, its growth has never been mine alone. The community that has gathered around it the artists, collaborators, partners, and participants have all played a role in shaping its direction.
Each person who joins contributes something meaningful, helping the vision evolve beyond what one individual could build alone.
Today, Kisheru Africa continues to grow as a collective space for creativity, connection, and impact, rooted in the land and communities that inspire it.
